The historical significance of World Peace Prize is evidenced by the outstanding contributions to humanity by World Peace Prize recipients. Since its inception and for the past 28 years, the World Peace Prize Awarding Council continues to carry out our mission of promoting world peace and inter-religious understanding. The World Peace Prize had been presented to individuals who have contributed to world peace by preventing regional conflicts or world war; by settling the disputes of political, diplomatic and economic matters; and by developing new inventions to minimize threats and confusions within mankind.
